what do you think of the guy you took it to?
    is it a professional shop?
was he using your power supply? were both connectors connected?
we could go on and on...

no power at all? no fans? no heat?
from where i sit it is hard to say; that board is only 2 years old & i dont see how it would of "just stopped" working.

i would keep trying "stuff"; but that's just the way i am

if the guy you took it to seems to know his stuff then i guess he knows.

i would ask alot of questions. tell him everything you've done etc.

see if you can get it back to at least start to POST

    why would that have changed?

i dont know why it would have changed, but it just stopped booting. no nothing, the fans will start to spin and they will just stop.

the shop isnt THAT professional, but i think im going to get a second opinion, but i might just go with the new mobo, havent decided yet.

could it be the power supply or what not? i mean everything goes through the mobo, it just seems like what is wrong with it to me, and the problem progressed through all the start ups i did and what not.

have you looked closely at the board?
any "burn spots"; dirt; etc. ?

perhaps look thru all these pages again:

have you tried more than one power supply?
are you sure the connections are seated (they should "clip" together)?
remember there are two power connections.

both are plugged in, secure, the fans would start to twirl, then stop.

you might get some fresh ideas by starting a new thread in the hardware section.
