Try cleaning the CD with a soft lint free cloth. CD Cleaning

You can also try the following. Boot into the Recovery console.

Change to c:\windows\system32\config
Rename system to system.old
copy system from c:\windows\repair
restart the machine.

You may need to reinstall your hardware drivers.
