when i start up xp professional as it is loading i receive an error message STOP: 0x000000ED (0x8139D538, 0xc0000185, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) i have tried reformatting my hdd, following what to do for recovery on the microsoft site and reinstalling xp, i dont think it has anything to do with the UDMA as i had no problems until i got a virus, has anyone had the same prob and know what to do? im at a loss to figure it out and it takes anywhere from 7 to 20 attempts to start xp, any info/help would be great, thanks in advance
