    Minidump Problem

Help. My computer won't stay online long. It keeps rebooting itself and the gives me an error report of a minidump. Does anyone know what is going on?

Do you have a firewall? Do you have antivirus software? Is it up to date? Have you run any diagnostics?

I have the free firewall from Outpost, but I've looked for other people that had the same problem and they have all different things going wrong - ei. reboots when DVD plays, reboots when playing a high graphics game, etc. Mine is when I get online.

It's not a virus, as far as I can tell. It's a software and/or hardware problem. I was just wondering is someone has run across this before and can give me some pointers?

I ran across these symptoms on 3 computers. It was all the same worm. Specifically the SAME symptoms if you want to give it a shot on a system scan: your updates status need to be current anyway. The removal tool for the worm I identified is available for free.

If it's the MBlaster or Sasser, I already have the fix installed on my system. Another forum has stated that this is definatly a RAM problem, maybe my RAM is corrupted.

Have you run diagnostics of any kind?

What specifically are the details of your "minidump" and what are you on dialup modem?

No, The forum that talks about it is full of people that have run diagnostics on their RAM, Hard drive, Motherboard and everything else you can think of. One person said the diagnostics tools she used on her RAM found nothing wrong, yet when she replaced the RAM her problem went away. I have one stick of 512MB.

Yes, I am on dial-up. I'll post the info of the minidump in a few minutes.

This is what it initially gives when it asks if you want to send the thing to Microsoft:

    BCCode: c2 BCP1: 00000007 BCP2: 00000CD4 BCP3: 000133BF
    BCP4: FF6E40C0 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 1_0 Product: 256_1

Then when you look into it, it says:

    C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini010605-04.dmp
    C:\DOCUME~1\Arella\LOCALS~\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sys data.xml
