    Freezes at shutdown..

My computer is almost always freezing at shut down..
I think my 2nd HD makes a click noise right before the freeze.. will try to unplug next time.
Any one have/had this kind of issue? Anyone know where to start investigating?
Will supply information if needed (Specs, ect.)
PS. when I immediate shut down from a fresh boot, it doesnt freeze

It may be due to spyware or too many progs wanting to access the net. Have you posted a hijackthis log?
