I have been trying to reload windows xp onto my computer after a virus attacked it. I have installed a new hard drive and the software installs until a point and it then says problems with configuration. Can anyone out there help me!!!!!!

Are saying that trying a full install from an XP CD is at some point stopping & giving an error message?

Can you say at what point the install stops?

Can you post the exact error message?

Are you sure this new drive is compatible with your computer?
