First I'd like to say THANKS for all the help I've gotten in the pass on this web sight.
I have 2 lap tops. The one I'm using now with win Xp on it with a cd rom installed. I also have a lap top with win 95 on it with no cd rom it does have a floppy. Can I use a usb patch cord to install win 98se that's on a cd from my lap top with the cd rom to the other lap top with win95 that has no cd rom? Can I also do this to install other software on cd's to the other lap top that has no cd rom? They both have floppys.

you can do but it will take ages why dont you just buy an externall cd rom they are now cheap as chips
