ok it looks like a spyware problem caused this.

look at these two posts and then ask your questions:

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. Look for a line that references either WMP *or* a media file. Make
note of where this is loading from, as this is where you will need to go to
remove the startup reference. If you are unsure of how to proceed, please
post back with the startup location for further assistance in removing it.

I've found that this problem is frequently related to spyware installed on
the system, you may wish to follow the below spyware removal steps as well:

    1) Install and run Adaware from www.lavasoft.de

    2) Install and run Spyware Blaster from
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

    3) Dump all TIF's and selectively delete unwanted cookies

    4) Turn on the native firewall or install a third-party one

    ----------------------------------

You can see (most of) the programs that run when windows
boots in MSCONFIG, so check to see if you have anything
there that would open Media Player. Click Start, Run, and
    type MSCONFIG and press enter.

Also, you could have a virus or spyware that is doing this.
run your antivirus program and scan your hard drives, or
download a program that removes spyware such as Ad Aware 6.

to simplify the above go to START>run>msconfig>startup

if you see Adobe, Help & Support, &/or Media player there uncheck the boxes & apply, reboot.

to get to the root of the problem download and run Hijack This

follow the instructions and post your log in the spyware section of this forum.

    hope this helps
