I have an Ibm lap top with windows XP on it
Can I make a petition for win 98se on this computer so
I can run my 98 software that is not supported by win XP?

Yes you could create a partition on which you could install Windows 98. Since Windows XP is already installed you have two choices, format and partition the hard drive and install 98 first and then XP. Or use a 3rd party partition manager like Partition Magic to create another partition for 98.
