I'm attempting to help a young friend clean up her college computer and educate her on how to keep spyware off her computer. I'm stuck on one issue. IE fires off the search engine every time you start, hit back or forward. The PC has XP Pro Sp2, IE6 SP2 and I've run Adaware,SB s&d, Spysweeper and HJT. I've removed a lot of Spyware but I don't know how to read the HJT log file to resolve the last problem with IE. Can someone help with that? I would be glad to post the log if that is acceptable.
