how did you manage to run hijack this if you cant get into windows?
make sure that your hardrives are properly set master/slave .
Also, it can be a multiplier/frequency setting in the BIOS. After you've checked that the master/slave stuff is ok, try to reset the CMOS and start all over again in the BIOS, don't mess with the frequency unless the POST gives a wrong reading. If so, increase in the smallest increments.
also i read this on another forum :
also you might want to try and lower you ram timmings...If possible first try running them by SPD....If that works try and change the various timmings one at a time...
The only reason i say this is I've run into problems with overclocking my DDR Ram timmings and the machine would reboot at the Windows XP Boot screen...

if you read the bit underneth the log it took me 4 attempts it either kicks me out on the boot up or if it feeling festive it lets me on for a few mins but 4 attempts to get one logs thats not right
-
sorry my fault didnt read! you read my reply above?
-
Just to clarify:
Do you see the BIOS POST?
Does it reboot immeadiatly after the BIOS POST?
F8 immeadiatly after the BIOS POST doesn't bring up the Safe Mode Options?
What is the nature of the "Restore Disk"? An XP Boot Disk? An OEM restore CD? Is it a boot disk?
-
now how do i do any of that im a newbie i need it in lamer talk!
-
its a restore disk that i used but that doesn't help at all
