Are you installing to a blank drive?

    Is it formatted?

Most manufacturers have there own setup/ format software (floppy boot)

What kind of drive is it?

Do you get any error from the CD drive? The CD would automatically format.

Do you know if the RAM is ok? Does BIOS POST ok? See all the drives & RAM etc.?

Here is Seagates setup. You need to download then create a floppy to boot.

    http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/...s/discwiz.html

No CD error? I am working with someone that has the same problem and just trying to get info. Blank drive CD wont boot; floppy errors out on first disk: BIOS I/O error... hmm...

anyway i would try running that Seagate setup

    Hope this helps

1 question, what show i have my drives boot order set as?

    thanks man hope it helps.

i did get a error from trying to cd rom setup, said fatal error and a whole bunches of other stuff and flashed it. couldnt read it all than tells me to exit cd rom and restart.

    BTW

From your other question bout BIOS POST, everything shows up, the cd rom and hd show are master on both channels and the floppy shows up also.
