i got new speakers today and i have everything plugged in and still no sound and i checked on my volume controls if anythings muted and nothing was i dono what else to do , pls help

Many speakers need a separate power source..check. Next - drivers - reinstall your sound drivers.

Did your earlier speaker work fine ?

Check if you've plugged in the speaker cord to the speaker port on the mobo... might be the mic socket or something

Your motherboard would've come with an installation disk. You'll find the drivers there.

if you dont have a installation cd then youl be able to find them on the internet.
first i suggest running the dal online hardware scan and finding out your sound card, and then find the approriate drivers for it.

check control panel under sounds & audio devices for any issues

formatting and reinstalling will solve anything on the planet, dont think you need to do that yet. Did you reinstall the drivers ?

i couldnt figure out how to reinstall the drivers never had to reinstall drivers ever :\
