my original computer ran Windows 98se. I have since upgraded to XP Pro.
my query is: I wonder if I can upgrade my daughters old windows 95 to 98se. I have the original Windows 98se disc but can't for the life of me find an code or number relating to it. I would appreciate your advice.... I am pretty well computer illiterate so speak slowly please. Thanks, Ralph

Is your 98se an upgrade disc or a full install?

If you are refering to XP's product key & authentication process they only apply to XP.
