    outlook express problem

Seeing as you have all been so helpful with the questions I have posted I have recommended this site to my sister in law who is having a problem with her e.mails
She is wary of going on this site herself so I said I would post on her behalf.
She has a new computer which is xp and uses outlook express for her e.mails
I sent her an e.mail to which she replied , however the reply has stayed in her outbox and she cannot delete it . Now everytime she sends an e.mail to someone anything in her outbox is also sent again. This is obviously a problem and can often mean that I get four of the same e.mails from her in one day when she sends a message to someone else. Every e.mail she sends gets stuck in the outbox and then gets resent again and again.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to help as it is driving her mad and she has stopped sending e.mails at present which is a nuisance for her.

Open Outlook Express, click Tools, click Options, click the Maintenance tab, click Store Folder. Now copy the path and click Start, click Run, paste the path you just copied onto the Run line and click OK. When the folder opens right click and delete Outbox.dbx, don't worry it will be recreated the next time you close and reopen Outlook Express. HTH

Thanks for the reply l I will pass the information on to her and see if it helps , I am always soooooooooooooo scared of deleting anthing in case it never comes back again.
Out of interest and for future reference what could have caused the problem in the first place ???

it may have been a default option and maybe if she reinstalled outlook express or got the update it started to use it , or maybe she selected the option by an accident? . . . . .
