    Cannot install, delete or use printer: "Operation could not be completed"

    Hi,

    I have win XP Home SP1 installed and a HP Officejet G55 but now my printer d
    oesn't want to print, I can't remove it, nor can I add a new one. (Actually
    you can say that my whole printer folder doesn't work)

    My question is how can I either uninstall the printer so that I can re-insta
    ll or how can I fix the problem so that the printer works again.

    1. Got Admin rights.
    2. Tried safe mode to remove it.
    3. Got a network PC that used the printer.

    Thank You.

    just a little more info if you can!

    has the printer worked before?
    have you installed or removed software/harware before the problem happened?
    can you open up the printer icon(to see the status of the print jobs?)
    have your checked device manager to look for conflicts?

    let me know mike.
