Explorer.exe Instruction 0x734301d5 referenced memory at 0x734301d5. Memory could not
be read.
None of the searches I have run on this memory location have been fruitful. Has anyone else had this? What about success in fixing it?

Could do with a bit more information to help diagnose this issue. Does it occur during boot, after the OS has loaded, whilst working, during idle.....does the PC reboot?
-
Sorry bout that.
Generally it occurs during the boot when systray items are being pulled in. It gives a click box to select ok to close or cancel to debug. Canceling causes a blank screen for a bit, then the O/S continues to load. Most of the time it runs ok after that.
What more can i offer?
-
Were things ok in the past?
Did this just start happening?
Any new software?
Do you run Spybot? AdAware? AV scan?
I've seen similar posts with the same error with very different solutions.
Look in Event Viewer for more details: Start/ Run/ eventvwr.msc
Look for Red X at boot time especially if associated with explorer.exe
Post full error messages.

Hi,
I have the same error message (not only at boot up), no solution yet. Had some viruses, recovered from those. Would it help to post a HIJACKTHIS log here?
Sometimes my system freezes and after ending the process “explorer.exe” and restarting I can continue.
It's very annoying and I would appreciate some suggestions
-
I solved my problem. I uninstalled Omniquad MyPrivacy. This program repeatedly crashed. I'm sure it corrupted and caused problems. After uninstall, I made sure the registry was clear of all OMP entries and reinstalled. It has worked just fine since.
Don't click OK when you get the message. Click cancel. Since explorer.exe is the main controller for windows, it will require a restart if you close it.
I'd look for a program that may crash on occassion or one that you installed just prior to the error appearing.
Don't forget the adware/spyware scans.
-
Ok thanks, but I have no such program like Omniquad installed. I have again checked for virusses and run the latest Adaware + Spybot. Attached my HJT file.
Also: In my system log (event viewer) there is always the same red error msg at each startup: "DCOM gor error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enbled devices assiated with it. Attempting to start the services upnphost with arguments in order to run the server {204810B9-}"
Is it related ?
