    HELP deleted sound device??

when cleaning files from my computer i seem to have deleted something i shouldn't. I now have no sound and when I start realplayer it says i dont have a sound device. Cheked this in 'system information' and sound card is listed and 'ok'. Any ideas what could be wrong.

You probably need to identify the model etc and reinstall the drivers for it.

    HI,
DEPENDING ON IF THE SOUNDCARD CAME WITH A INSTALL CD,IF IT DID JUST RE-INSTALL.IF IT DIDNT YOU CAN X/P SYSTEM RESTORE,OR YOU CAN SHUT THE COMPUTER OFF,TAKE OUT THE SOUND CARD THEN PUT IT BACK IN,RESTART,AND X/P SHOULD RECONISE IT,AND INSTALL IT.
HOPE IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU
