I have a PC with Windows XP Home on it. The other day I was trying to get "on-line" to check my emails from my old pal Jack Sprat. Anyway.. When opening outlook express. I receive an error saying that it can't get my messages. I have concluded that this is because it is not online. This is fair enough but the dial-up connection dialog never appeared.
Brian.. I said to myself this is most peculiar indeed. - If I open internet explorer then the dial up connection dialog will appear. So i checked the connection settings in outlook express and they are set to use the same as internet explorer.

Could anyone suggest anything. Other than the obvious of just connecting via explorer first. Because lets face it that's a bit of a hack.
