i was defragmenting my computer,, i split my hardrive into 2 drives.

the first drive showed no problem, but the second drive just stopped at analyzing drive for errors, , and it refuses to defrag .. even after 3 hours

do you have 2 hard drives?

or 2 partitions on 1 hard drive?

2 partitions on one hardrive

using the xp defragmenter in system tools?

have you tried the 2nd partition after leaving the defragmenter then returning?

or after re-booting?
