Hi all

computer was working fine until i tried doing a disk cleanup. It would not work and i got blue screen....i tried disk cleanup again and got blue screen once more....shut down and rebooted and then it would not even boot because of missing hal.dll file....please re-install.

i have put in my legit copy of xp pro and it goes through the motions but will not perform R recovery cause it cant any drive

I changed my boot order in bios to cd rom first instead of hhd1 and since then have not been able to select hddo or any other drive as second in the boot order?


this is a 4month old drive that was working perfectly...have cleared cmos in bios and am still not able to do a recover or even format and re-install

PLEASE help me....so frustrating
