We have a computer which runs xp but are hoping to get another computer for my sons bedroomalso xp which we also want to be connected to the internet , can both computers be on the internet at the same time and if so how does that work

It works in many ways depending on alot of details. Do you have a cable connection? DSL?

Just 2 computers on either of these can be as simple as using a line splitter or just adding a router to your set-up.

How are you set-up now? Did your ISP provide you with a modem? In your ISP manual there should be basic info on multiple hook-ups.

In my case I use a simple line splitter that was provided by my ISP along with my modem.
