I can't connect using an Orange Livebox. Put in the Security code 26 symbols long. It won't connect. Spoken to Orange can't help further than try to retype in caps & zero for 0s. Any ideas anyone please. Really frustating problem.

Can other computers connect? Can your computer connect to other networks?

Don't know is the answer. Other Networks come up but you need to type in the codes which I don't have. Spent about 4 hours on this & got nowhere! the laptop is transmitting a signal & the Livebox appeards to be as well but not connecting at present. Could try other networks if they don't need passwords. BT Hub is next strongest signal but need a Security Code. Help!

Then I recommend you connect to the Livebox via Ethernet cables to first see if you can get out to the Internet that way, and then second, log into the Livebox admin page to change/reset the security code/passphrase for the wifi side of it.

Please understand since we cannot verify who you are or that you are the responsible person for this network, we will not help you bypass security (hacking). That would contrary to our agreements to comply by the D-A-L Rules and Terms of Service).

had already ordered earlier in the week as wired conectiononpc kept going down as well. More stable today so wanted to try to receive wireless conection on laptop so I could be more mobile.
