About a week ago, I wiped everything off my laptop. Starting yesterday, I have not been able to download programs from the internet. The rest of my computer works fine. I have Norton so I don't think I have any viruses. I have Windows Vista and I have tried many internet browsers (IE, Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox). Each time I try to download a program offline, I get one of the following error messages:
"The Filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect" (Google Chrome and Firefox) or
"ShellExecuteEx failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified." (Internet Explorer and Safari)
Please help!
**Actually I could download some programs... But "smaller" programs would not download...
I could download Google Chrome, but I cannot download programs like TuneAid.**
