Wireless, Local Only
Hi,
I'm having a problem connecting a couple of laptops to the internet. Both are fine when connected by a cable, but using WiFi just gives me local access.
I've connected lots of other computers and mobile devices to the net wirelessly without trouble, so I'm not sure what it is about these two (both vista) that is causing a problem.
I've tried setting the IP etc manually, tried uninstalling, updating the network drivers, I've also tried the DHCP broadcast flag fix but it is not working.
Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers
I've ran MBAM to clean it, CCleaner too, and the registry scan, combofix too. Nothing seems to get the internet on!
The Modem Router is a "2-Wire 2701HGV-C" and is a BT business hub.
When I do "ipconfig /all" It shows that it has an IP, and that the Default gateway is correct. SO why on earth no internet?
Any ideas or suggestions please!
