Have laptop, vista sp2, when clicking on view networks either from systray or thru control panel/networks,, nothing happens, from googling it appears my van.dll.mui file is corrupted.
i dont have a vista disk to do a repair or install.

i have found that i might be able to replace the file from copying another file off any other vista laptop i can find,, which i dont have one, but think i can find one.

i also found that i will have to perhaps use 'takeown' thru cmd promt to be able to modify the van.dll.mui file,, however doing a search i found 2 of them, one in
c:\windows\system32
c::\windows\winsxs

should i try the sys32 one first

or any other ideas
