We've been using AVG free download as anti virus software for the last year and a half or so. It recently expired & when we try to download the recent version we keep getting the download error & can't get it to work!

Any ideas on what's going wrong? Or, can anyone suggest another free anti virus package which we can try to download in its place??

There are many to choose from. Avira AntiVir is favorite. I personally like and use Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE).
