When I installed the Windows vista SP2 update and other updates before or after that this minth, I had not sound and the message came up no output audio drivers installed.

I would restore the computer to the point before the update and I would have sound. I do not have the update and i am afraid to install other updates. I went to the Asus website to download the driver but it is only there for Win XP. I have an Eee PC HD1000 with Vista and the options that they have is 1000HD/XP and 1000HD/Linux. The notebook came with xp on it after the virus attacked Vista was put on the computer. Can I install the driver for XP although I haave Vista now and not have more problems?

I want to install the updates but I will have not sound. I do not know what to do. Please help me.
