My laptop will no longer connect to the internet through the wall connection. I live in an apartment complex and it says I'm still connected to the LAN, local only not the internet. However, I can turn on my wireless and get on that way. I asked my roommate and he said he wasn't having any trouble, I took my laptop into his room and tried plugging my laptop in there, and didn't have any luck, it still only connected to local only. It's not a huge problem because I can still get online, but it is slower and really annoying because it won't work right. Help please!!!

Some more info: I took it to the pc service center on campus this morning and they were pretty confused as well, because it connected to the internet when he plugged it in there. So his best guess was that my ISP blocked my IP address for some reason and won't let me on the internet. Any other ideas? If not, how should I get this resovled? Should I call my internet service provider and talk with them?
