Windows Live Messenger Error
I am running Windows Vista (64 bit). I installed Windows Live Messenger (WLM) and had a video chat with my family. Everything
worked fine for that first time. But since then everytime I opened WLM, I got this error messsage saying "WLM has stopped working... Windows is checking for a solution to the problem." Then it will report that "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I have checked various websites and forums, and no one seemed to find a "cure" that works for all. Some suggested changing the internet option's security setting, which I did but made no difference. Others mentioned about something in the registry that needed to be cleared. I also uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but none of this helped.
Your forum and answers have always been helpful to my husband's questions before. I hope you can share some insights with us to solve the problem. Thank you very much.
