quite an annoying problem in the fact if i load a cd/dvd into the computer it sounds as though its running/loading but nothing comes up on the screen. Probably a quick fix but i can't think how to do it!! HELP

First thing I would do is make sure is the connection at the back of the CD-ROM/DVD player is connected by opening the PC up and having a look. Perhaps all you got connected is the power supply.
