Hello everyone. It seemed that my VAIO laptop reset itself or something like that. Here's why I say that:

-After login, there was a VAIO welcome screen, like it was my first time turning it on.
-The desktop screen reverted back to its original from (original Windows wallpaper, the gadget sidebar that I usually don't have was there)
-Icons changed (quick launch icons gone, desktop icons were rearranged and some were gone)
-Lost all bookmarks for IE7 (all settings were also reverted back to original)

When I thought all hope was lost, and that my WHOLE laptop did reset, I was relieved to find everything in the C:\ hard drive was still there. Nothing disappeared in that hard drive, all programs, documents, pictures, everything (found the bookmarks too). Sorry, but this is all I could discover at the moment. But what the hell just happened? Was it the work of some virus or my laptop going nuts?

*EDIT: Silly me. How could I forget about System Restore? Still, I don't know why it did that. Any clues?
