I am running Firefox and after I am on the web for a few minutes and then go to the menu ( File, Edit, View, etc.), The drop down menu is always blank. Sometimes if I let my cursor set there few 30 seconds or so, the menu will come up. The menus will do the same thing when I right- click something. I ran AVG free virus and Malwarebytes free edition, but came up with no infections. I also re-installed Firefox, but did no good. What could be the problem. My Word program seems slower too and takes a long time for it to open or close. Thanks for any help or advice.

Firefox issue:
Are you using the latest version of Firefox ? Have you tried running Firefox in Safe Mode? If the problem is not there in safe mode, then you can start looking at add-ons as causing the problem.

I tried all that. Ran Hijack and CCleaner and my browser is much better! Still having issues with my Word2003 opening and closing really slow and I have a whole list of about 50-75 Thunderbird documents from old e-mails of over 1 year ago in my my eating up space. I can right click them or go to the File menu and there is never a delete button to get rid of them. Is there another way to get rid of them. They are deleted from my e-mail and trash bin, but still in my files in the computer. How do I get them deleted? Thanks.

What's the full path of these files? What version of Thunderbird are you using?
