    remote desktop program

When I had xp pro I was able to use remote desktop on my laptop to see my desktop pc's desktop and run programs and do anything remotely. Unfortunately vista premium doesn't support remote desktop, only ultimate or business version do.

My question is whether or not there is a freeware or means of accomplishing this feat, especially over the internet. I know hp support does this when they want to help a user but they won't give up the softwares identity.

Any help would be appreciated. Cyberwasp

There are two I have used, both equally as good as the other.

    Crossloop and Logmein.

There are many more, remote PC assistance

Post back with your thoughts, but none of the above would be what HP use I would guess.

    kind regards,

I can't vouch for the others but Logmein should work on home premium since it is independent of the OS. Basically with MS you get what you pay for which is why remote desktop is on home premium. That shouldn't have to do with whether or not logmein will work on it. It isn't as good as MS remote desktop but because it goes over the internet it is more flexible.
