That is funny. That is something I do all the time. Easy as pie in Linux. I shrink/delete Ntfs partitions. Make Logical partitions out of them instead of primary partitions. Label them. Flag them. I can format them as Fat32 or NTFS, XFS, Rieserfs, Ext4,Ext3,Ext2 File systems.you won't be able to revert to fat32 from ntfs using Windows or Linux partition programs though
The only thing I have to watch out for with a Windows box when I shrink the primary partition that windows sits on is to defragment the Windows Partition till all files are as far to the left of disk management Windows as can be. So as to not delete any files when shrinking.
problem solved...
C:\Users\Username format X: /fs:fat32 (with X being the drive letter)
Its working right now.
