I use photoshop elements 7 for a year now. When I installed it, it placed a shortcut to the editor under vista's "Open with," menu.

This year I updated to photoshop elements 8. instead of adding itself to the "open with" menu, it replaced the pse7 shortcut with the new one. I would like both editors to show up under the open with menu but can not figure out how to do it.TIA

try this: right click on file your trying to open with. when it asks you if you want to open with the new one just click choose default program. select the one you want. the next time both choices should be there.

Sorry Kenny, that's what I tried initally and it doesn't except it. the new one that was put in during install shows up

I tried it a third time and it finally woked. TY guess the third time really is a charm
