I've suddenly developed a number of problems with my computer, hopefully somebody out there may have same ideas how to sort this problem out?
My current virus protection is a free version of AVG, which my friend gave to me.
Basically, a number of things keep happening. These are as follows:-

(1). The computer takes much longer than normal to start up. When it does, it gives me the message "setting up/configuring your desktop. Which it does eventually.

(2). Having already set up my desk top background. When the computer start, it seems to default to a Hewlett Packard setting.

(3). My Internet web browser is Virgin media. But, again it defaults to an AOL browser. When I then set up my Virgin media, it's defaults back to AOL after restarting.

(4). I have lost all my favourites off of my web page.

(5). My i-tunes libriary seems to have been deleted, But, when I go into a programme I have, which is entitled Zoom Browser. i-tunes still seems to be there, of sorts!

(6). When I go into "Pictures" all my photographs have dissapeared. I was initially horrified by this. As it contained all of my families photographs for the last eight years. But, luckily they still appear in "Zoom Browser".

If anyone can help me with this I'd be really grateful.
