I need help! DEP is a big pain. Data execution is preventing me from opening certain links at web sites. IE; Adding a picture to an Ebay auction, enlargeing a picture to look at an auction item and some other links when paying a bill. I know where DEP is, in advanced system settings, but i dont know what program is be'in prevented from opening?

I would see if setting it only for essential windows programs and services helps. You will be prompted to restart.

Please make sure you Windows Updates are current too with whatever OS you are running.
