    D-link airstream plus 132

Tried to install wireless software on to new vista machine; it loaded but the device didn't work. I decided since I didn't really want to use the wireless network anyway I would just get rid of it but did not find an "uninstaller"; maybe should have looked harder, so I deleted the entire d-link folder in programs. Now when I boot I get a message WZCSLDRZ.exe entry point not found; the proceedure entry point apsgetready could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll

when I click ok it just goes away but it is annoying; there is stuff left over I assume from installing the software thats left. Any good way of getting rid of this? I was was thinking of re-installing the software again, then uninstalling with something that would blow it all away.

Forget Microsoft Add/Remove program as it leave files in the registry and on the hard

drive which will causes problem uninstalling and reinstalling programs

    Try Revo Uninstaller http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninst...html?tag=mncol

If the windows request message to reboot appear DO NOT click the NO button Revo will

now search the registry and hard drive for any files that is not required, just click the

Select All button and the Delete button if any left over files are found once the “Finish”

button appear you can than reboot the computer

Thanks for the advise; problem is I deleted the files from the programs folder and I don't think the unistaller can list and find it now; in fact windows add and remove never listed it in the first place so I could't figuer out how to remove it otherwise; whats left apparently is in the registry; I have an IT at work looking at it and he says he can delete the registry items manually and that should clear it up. I'll let you know how I make out with it. Thanks for the tip on the Revo uninstaller, I'm sure i'll have need to try it.

if u havent tried the uninstaller then you should know it is specificaly for purpose of finding and uninstalling programs that hasnt been removed properly from the registry just like your case.
