I am currently attempting to make a set of recovery disks for my laptop. the problem is... Recovery manager won't do it!
I have an HP pavilion with Windows Home Premium (OEM) installed on it.
The CD/DVD drive works... I know this because I just burned an ISO disc for another program, and can browse discs inserted. However, HP's recovery manager is refusing to recognize it!
I attempt to run recovery manager, and it gives me the error attached. this makes NO sense, because well... there is!
It could be a software problem, you should try a third party recovery software tool. Sometimes with time and the installation of new software, certain programs can become useless. The only thing to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall again, however not all windows programs can be unistalled and reinstalled again.
