Please help, whenever I turn my computer on, the screen goes black just before the login screen. The computer still works, as it still makes all the noises it would normally make, eg. the login noise if I type my password. If I hit F8 when the computer first starts it comes up with lots of options, one of those is 'last known good configuration'. That use to work and fix it, but now it no longer does. The computer also works perfectly fine on safe mode. Please help.....

You meed to start by installing the latest graphics drivers for your computer. If you post more information about your computer when can try to help you locate them. If you don't know the system's specifications you can run our hardware scanner and post back the link.

My OS is Vista business, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor 2GHz, I have 2GB RAM, if I go into control panel in safe mode and go to problem reports and solutions, it says there is a problem with my graphics driver, but I can't find a way to update it. In addition to what I've said previously, there is nothing else really.
