Hey,

I've searched for this problem everywhere, but can't seem to find my exact situation, so I'm sorry if there's already a thread on this (I couldn't find one).

Before I get started, I'm using an HP SR5410F Desktop. The only things I've added is a bigger power supply and an nVidia 8800 GT.

So here's the problem: The other day, my computer started randomly going into Stand-by mode. I'll be using it, and all of the sudden the screen will go black, and it will enter Stand-by. When I press the power button to resume, it will enter the log-on screen, and my keyboard won't function. I've found that if I press F2 (for some reason) it will re-activate my keyboard so I'm able to log on. It will repeatedly do this until I've logged on like 6 times, then it will work for a little while. After that little while, the same thing happens again. Stand-by, I'll log on, immediately enters Stand-by again, etc. I've changed the advanced power settings and made sure all of the sleep options are set to off, and still no luck. Any help would be appreciated, as this problem is quite the annoyance. Thanks in advance.
