my recovery disk has no free space

Can you be more specific about this "recovery disk"?

If it is either a partition or a CD or DVD it should have no free space.

It is a disk image and fills whatever space it was created in.

If you are referring to some type of backup than this is a different matter.

hrjepon the computer there are three spots one is locale disk one is recovery disk and i forget what the third one is any way i should have 99. somthing on the recovery and according to the graph i have no ferr space i'am prompted to clean up the junk files and the only files that show up to clean is the recycle bin which is empty thank you jephree for helping jeff

Download CC-Cleaner and/or ATF Cleaner; I use both. For CC-Cleaner before your first use click on Options --> advanced and uncheck "only delete files in the windows temp folder older the 48 hours". The installer will try to install the yahoo tool bar. If you do not want this you can tell it not to by unchecking that box. You should use these regularly.

Just to reiterate the recovery partition will have no free space nor should it.

I didn't know about this thread when I made my post. veteran you should not mess with your recovery partition. If you are getting an error that is probably because you are low on space on your vista partition which the programs I listed will help you clear.
