    Registry Fault

    Hi ,

I'm using Registry Mechanic to fix errors . All errors are fixed except two . I've attached a file of Registry Mechanic displaying the two registry errors . These errors also appear on my laptop , again as the only unfixed errors . My laptop is networked to my main pc . I had a similar problem with removing eset nod32 but manually used regedit to remove the registry values . Is it safe to remove both of these registry values via regedit ? Or is there another process to fix the problem ?

    Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 ( x86 )
    4gb RAM
    1gb nvidia 9500gt gfx
    Intel core2 quad (Q8200 @ 2.33 ghz )

    Many thanks ,

Very, very bad idea. Get rid of it before your computer will get messed up beyond repair.
    What's wrong with the computer?

Nothing is wrong with the pc , everything works fine . I merely wondered on how to delete or if indeed those 2 registry values are important in any way . Have used registry mechanic for years with no problems .

Well as pc geek knows , the registry only needs one fault to wipe the system - I have looked on the net and can find nothing to specify what the registry faults refer to - merely wondering if it's safe to remove them ? If so I can only use regedit as I have no other software avaliable

ass pc geek knows, the registry only needs one wrong key to be deleted to make the computer un-bootable.
One more time...if it's not broken...
That's all I have to say.

Point taken and indeed a very true statement - I'll leave the registry values as they are

That is a very wise choice. The golden rule when it comes to the registry is if you don't know what it is LEAVE IT ALONE!!! I apologize if that seems too harsh but I don't want you to break something.
