    Exclamation Speakers Not Working

Speakers are not working, the initial start-up sound works but no other sounds do. I've updated my driver to the latest version and everything says it is correctly installed. It is set on the right sound output. Headphones work and speakers from the headphone port work but not the internal speakers. Thinking it may be a hardware problem? What do you think?

If your headphone jack works then my guess is that something is wrong with the speakers themeselves. If it is a laptop [I can't tell by your post] if they can be fixed/replaced it would have to be by a technician. If the computer is still under warranty I would contact the manufacturer. You could use external speakers connected to the headphone jack.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean sounds that windows makes after boot up or the beep or the beep that the computer makes after it is turned on? If it is the beep that is from an entirerly separate speaker and all that particular speaker does it beep.

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

Are you referring to built in monitor speakers?

If so what is the make and model of the monitor?
