    No Safe Mode

MY OS is windows vista home premium with sp1.I have tried go to the Safe mode to run chkdsk/F command, but i cant. When i boot my pc i try hit F8 key but there is no any response.
So i go to the BIOS and select my boot options:1st boot device dvd and i disabled my samsung hdd.Even that not help.there is no any accses to Safe Mode and i even cant reinstall my windows os.
I have checked my keyboard Logitech Wave-it works properly.I run also Anti-Malware and hdd inspector, both says: computer is ok,but it isnt.
    Could it be motherboard failure?
and here is my hardware specs:
    Asrock P45XE
    4gb ram
    Ati HD4670 512mb graphcard
    Samsung dvd-ram
    HDD 500gb 16mb cache samsung
    500w PSU
    22" samsung syncmaster T220
And firewall is Zonealarm free, antivirus software is Avast

What is the main problem here?

Why would you even consider reinstalling Vista?

Check Disk will not even run in Safe Mode it needs to run outside the volume.

From a Run... command (win key + R) type chkdsk /f or /r

You will be told the volume is in use: Do you want to run chkdsk on next boot? Y or N

    Type Y and reboot.

    Check Disk should then run.

    As for the Safe Mode...
    i try hit F8 key
You don't press F8, you keep tapping F8 key, when your computer starts. Sometimes, you need to start tapping only when manufacturer's logo comes up.

Unless I'm reading your log wrong, it looks like you only have 1 drive. How could disabling your only drive help? Even if you have 2+ drives that wouldn't help because it boots into the boot drive the same way regardless of whether or not its the only drive activated. Also f8 only brings up boot options after it has accessed the drive.

This isn't likely but the manufacturer might have the made boot options available from another key. Check your computer's documentation.

Something to try: Right click on computer and choose properties. On the left hand pane choose "Advanced system settings" and give permission/provide administrative password if prompted. Choose the settings button in the "strartup and recovery" section [should be the 3rd button from the top]. Make sure the box beside "time to display recovery options when needed:" is checked.Hit ok and ok.

If you still can't get to safe mode you can hit the reset button and windows should bring up the boot up options automatically when the computer restarts.
