I got an acer aspire computer, m1610

now i used to play maplestory and the something weird hapen to my computer and now i cant play maple story anymore.

you guys sended me an page to scan my comp and i did but on the device it was blank O_o

now i really need help with this becouse it says

"failed to find proper screen gr2d" when i try to start the game.

i really love maple and i would really like you to help me, my e-mail is

I removed your email as you don't want to post that on a public forum.

You need to ID your graphics device and reload the drivers for it.

lets see. jephree could we chat in msn becouse i`ve got a page u sended to me and there i got all the uppdates about the grafic.

this maplestorty is an europe version in played before then my computer started to logg out and restart as soon as i logged into an user and then i somehow turned it of.

after it i`ve never played maple or never tryed to, then i istalled steam counter strike on my pc and after 2months i wanted to start play maple and i could`t so i wonder if its becouse of steam or direkt x 9 or something thats why i need help and u guys are my lasty hope.

i can answer any questions about my pc except 1 grafic drivers device that was blank when i scanned my computer so i wonder if my drivers have deleted themself by any chance or something.

I live in sweden so maybe my end aint the best but i hope u understand me otherwise i can explain better what i mean if u dotn understand.

Ehm let see, i really don`t know. i would like if u could make an new hotmail that i could send u all uppdates about my computer so u get them becouse i cant post them here and im not really so good with computers, XD

Either just post in text or add as attachment. Attachments are sent from the "Advanced" reply box: Manage Attachments.

Anyway the computer you link to has three different graphics options.

Look under Add or remove programs under your Control Panel:

Do you see any programs listed as either ATI or NVIDIA?

Go to this page:

ATI Radeon™ Drivers and Support

Click: Windows Vista 32-Bit Edition

Then: Radeon

Then: Radeon HD 2400 Series (PCIe)

Then: GO

Then: Option 2 | Download link | Display Driver (Display Driver Only)


See how that goes. If it is not compatible with your computer it should let you know that.

hmmm i istalled it and everything went good.
but i still cant play the game wich is weird, any more steps i should do?
