Can not scan
old computer xp no problem

new one vista home premium an prints ok but no response to scan

any ideas ?

You have to upgrade the drivers for your printer. Note that the drivers for the scanner, as well as most of the drivers, are for the 32-bit version of vista. To determine which version you have find "computer" on either your desktop or your start menu, right click on it & choose properties. At the bottom of the system information section [in the middle of the page] it will say either "32-bit operating system" or "64-bit operating system".

Try updating your drivers and tell us what the outcome is.
