Hi,

I am using a Dell XPS M1330 Laptop, last night I left my machine installing Windows
Updates and this morning it will not restart and I get the following message
" c:\ntoskrni.exe is corrupt "

The Startup Repair will not fix the problem automatically.
Is there anything I can do in order not to have to reinstall the complete computer, it would
appear there are no restore points on the computer.

I did manage to make a boot disk and get access to my data so all is not lost yet. Once again many thanks.
