    DVD Help

    Hello

I dont know where to put this, but I have a DvD that I would like to rip the files off it. Not to take them off, but to make a copy. I would like to post the videos that are on this DvD on my Computer as a file. I would like to post them up on my sites as well. I have a vista Basic, So I was wondering if there was a way to get free software to do this...Or do I have to get it from somewhere...

    Thanks,
    Voiceofjon

This will do it. Paid version does more than the free version. Read up on what is the difference between the 2.

You are crossing a very thin line of legality for dvd copying especially if you host a copyrighted dvd on the web. I believe that you have the right to make 1 copy of dvds for back up purposes that you have purchased but the manufacturers try their best to make sure people can't or think that they can't. You are asking for trouble (lawsuits, federal fines, prison time, etc) if you host on the web in the states. The exception would be if you owned the copyright. That said it is very hard to find any dvd decryptors that you don't have to pay for. The best that I know of has been taken down from the web. However I don't feel like I can help you any further because I don't want to get in trouble with either the site admin or with the dvd companies.

You don't have to worry about that, I am an Actor. I have done some commericals for my uncle. I Just got my Demo Reel, the only problem is that I don't have any software to create a copy of the commericals on the DVD. If I can't find one that is any good I will use one that my friend has.
